Abstract

Inspired by the Italian experience – Gelateria Model- in the manufacture of rich gelato, which dates back to the 16th century, by Bernardo Buontalenti; Mojoe, an ice cream enthusiast and Dolato’s founder has decided to create an Italian brand to be the comfort cone for everyone who loves gelato.

CHALLENGES

Create a contemporary visual identity that takes into account the ancient origins of the gelato product and reflects its natural ingredients and great taste.
Squad. proposed Dolato Marketing team the direction of calligraphic based logo to emulate the old gelaterias in Italy, the pale colors that reflect the natural color present in the gelato itself, and illustrations with the classic inking style, to give these elements a suitable combination of the Dolato brand.
